Scene 21- The Gunship

Greetings from Trinidad and Tobago!

I’m currently spending time here with family and friends enjoying the warm air, spiced rum, food and music. The other day, I hiked through the rainforest and took a “shower” under the refreshing and wonderful Maracas waterfall, Trinidad & Tobago’s tallest! It towers over the valley at 300ft and is the source of the Maracas River, which provides fresh good tasting water for the surrounding communities. If you zoom in on the picture, you might see me at the bottom of the fall.

OK, enough about my sanitary habits under a waterfall.

I did managed to post another chapter/scene for my new book, MILK RUN a military SciFi novel about a young captain fresh out of space command school on his first mission as captain of the USS Princeton, an old destroyer class spacecraft. But what our hero thought would be an easy first mission turns out to be a test of his ability to lead a crew and ship much older than him against an enemy that is using his own fiancée to destroy him, his ship and his mission.

Can our young captain complete his mission and save his fiancée too?

This latest scene (The Gunship), follows Captain Toby Nathanael Louis, Jr. and his crew as they enter the disabled Telrachnid gunship that has been hounding them all the way to Starbase 45 to deliver their secret cargo -the Crowbar- in hopes to give Earth the upper hand with it’s war with the Telrachnids.
