First of all, a BIG THANK YOU to my MILK RUN Beta readers for your reviews, comments and encouragement. YES, your feedback has been very helpful . . . to the point that I have tweaked/reposted a few scenes based on your comments.
MILK RUN is currently in the “creation” stage as I write one scene at a time based on an earlier outline that follows the seven basic elements of a classic three act story:
- Inciting incident
- First Act Turn
- Mid-Point
- Low Point
- Second Act Turn
- Climax
- Wrap-up
Click here if you want to read more about these elements. It may not be the latest or fanciest method, but it works for me. Feel free to comment on what process works for you.
I then write the scene, then review it many times for things like: grammar, flow, consistency, dialog, backdrop, suspense, technical detail, etc. It’s a long drawn-out process that takes time to complete. Even then I’m not satisfied. Then, I put the scene down for a week or two then come back to it fresh and start the process all over again.
For that reason, while I have several scenes already written, they are not quite ready for distribution to the team. But they are on their way to ya!
Meanwhile, thanks for your comments and please, please, please feel free to pass on the word about MILK RUN to others you think may be interested in being a beta reader.

Here’s a short summary of MILK RUN, a military SciFi novel.
Earth is losing the war against the Telrachnids and a young captain is charged with delivering a new weapon to a secret star base. But what our hero thought would be an easy first mission turns out to be a test of his ability to lead a crew and ship much older than him against an enemy that is using his fiancée to destroy him, his ship, and his mission.
Can our young captain complete his mission
and save his fiancée too?

As promised, from time to time, I’ll tell you about some interesting books fellow authors have published or are working on. Here are two such works that will tickle your desire to download.
- Shane Shepherd’s “DISCOVERING YOUR NEIGHBOR” reminds me of MILK RUN with his book’s tagline: “A simple exploration of an unknown planet. What could go wrong?” An aerospace engineer by training, you are assured that the science Shane brings to this SciFi novel will be enticing.
You can get DISCOVERING YOUR NEIGHBOR by clicking here or the image below.
- Mark Leo Tapper’s THE ROAD TO DAMASCUS novel is a work in progress and here’s your opportunity to get a sneak peek about a Knight Hospitaller from the twelfth century who must train his adopted daughter to use her magic to continue a centuries long tradition but in the twenty-first century. This work is about “caregivers who kick ass!”
