It’s been another year since my last post. After putting MILK RUN down for a while, I’ve returned with a fresh set of eyes to continue the project. I just completed a round of major changes with a professional editor. The story remains the same. But corrections were made to: remove obvious typos and punctuation issues; smooth out the prose; get rid of story distractions, repetitions and those awful dense paragraphs. Yep a general…
Question for you authors and readers. Do you consider the term “helmswomen” derogatory? Do you consider romance in a military SciFi story bad or distracting from the action? I use both in my military SciFi story- MILK RUN!

Finishing up this military SciFi is harder than I thought as I go through my fourth major revision of the end. But, it’s getting there and a recent flight over the Smoky Mountains helped.
